Hey there. My name is Courtney Ringeisen. I'm 23 years old and a native of the lakeside city of Port Colborne, Ontario, but I am currently stationed in Thorold, Ontario.
I have 5+ years of experience in web design and development and 2 years of print design experience, in addition to traditional art and design training. I hold diplomas in both Graphic Design Fundamentals & New Media Design from Niagara College Canada.
I was recently awarded the Dean's Award upon graduation from New Media Web Design, recognizing the achievement of holding the highest cumulative average in the division at 95%.

I founded Metrik Design in April of 2009 as a business front for my creative mind and as a living portfolio for my work. I focus on web, print and logo design, but I'm always willing to take on a challenge.
I have a passion for beautiful, clean websites based and the use of strong, meaningful color and textures. I profess a love of typography (letters are so lucious!).
I truly believe that design begins from the ground up and requires thinking outside of the box, coupled with a strong process and a healthy respect for my client's input.
I am constantly seeking to expand my knowledge and pursue my fervor for design.
